About NAI

North Atlantic Industries (NAI) designs, manufactures, and sells COTS and Custom
products for the Defense and Aerospace industries. These products include:
- Embedded Input/Output (I/O) Boards
- Military Power Supplies
- Motion Simulation and Measurement Instruments
- Embedded Systems
Founded in 1955, NAI has established a well-deserved reputation with its world-wide
customer base as a provider of the highest performance and the highest quality products.
All of these products are offered in extended temperature range and ruggedized full-military
versions.
The NAI team is focused on delivering innovation, high quality, superior performance,
exceptional value, and total satisfaction to its customers. After working closely
with its customers to understand their requirements, NAI then provides the most
appropriate solution for the customer's need -- a COTS standard product solution,
a modified standard product, or a fully custom-designed product. Many of NAI's products
are still in the field and fully supported after more than 20 years of operation.
NAI has long-standing close relationships with its diverse world-wide customer base.
It frequently acts as an extension of its customer's Engineering team. NAI customers
include such well known companies as:
- Lockheed Martin
- Boeing
- Northrop Grumman
- Raytheon
|
- EADS
- BAE Systems
- Mitsubishi
|
All of these companies have experienced and valued NAI's innovation, flexibility,
and responsiveness. No single customer accounts for more than 10% of NAI sales.
NAI values its employees and provides them with an excellent work environment. Its
headquarters is in a modern 30,000 square foot facility, with the latest high-technology
Engineering and Manufacturing equipment. NAI practices the values of teamwork, customer
focus, professional growth, emphasis on quality, and open communications. Twenty
percent of NAI employees have more than 10-years of service and 50% have more than
5-years of service. NAI employees receive a full-range of company-provided benefits,
along with on-the-job training, and company-sponsored social events.
Over the last 50 years, NAI has built a reputation as the world leader in synchro/resolver
simulation and measurement - based initially on its broad line of benchtop instrumentation.
In 1992, new ownership broadened NAI's focus to include COTS and custom embedded
I/O boards and power supplies. This was accomplished through a series of acquisitions
and through significant internal engineering investments. More recently, NAI has
provided Embedded Systems to selected customers. NAI's continuing commitment to
research and development has resulted in the introduction of over 35 new products
in the last 24 months. NAI is committed to continued R&D, product development, and
innovation to maintain its reputation as a technology leader in the embedded defense
and aerospace marketplace.
